About my practice

Sometimes life can offer unexpected challenges that feel stressful and overwhelming. I strive to empower clients with the tools they need to skillfully navigate life’s twists and turns. My approach is collaborative. During the course of treatment, I work with my clients to develop appropriate goals and provide patients with regular feedback on their progress.

I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, a psychological treatment with extensive research support to address issues related to: insomnia and sleep problems, adjustment to chronic medical conditions and/or disability, stress management, relationship problems, major life transitions, depression, anxiety, and PTSD and trauma.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Texas. I have additional credentialing through the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. I am a member of several local and national professional associations including the American Psychological Association, Texas Psychological Association, Houston Psychological Association, Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies, and the Society for Behavioral Sleep Medicine. If you have any questions about my practice or the services I provide, please feel free to contact me. I provide free confidential phone consultations for prospective clients.
